Press Release: MF Digital Announces the Release of Ripstation 7601XD Disc Ripping System.

East Farmingdale, NY August 29, 2008 - MF Digital is proud to announce the all-new 1-Drive 7601XD Ripstation Disc Ripping System.

As with all Ripstation systems, the 7601XD provides a powerful and automated digital music conversion solution. With this system you can easily convert a complete audio CD collection with metadata management features and configuration tools to control the exact CD ripping quality. In addition, the Ripstation will encode multiple file formats - even simultaneously. All metadata or tag information, including album art, is retrieved from your choice of up to three on-line databases. Add to the mix our Media Grabber video ripping option and the Ripstation 7601XD provides the ideal solution for automated production CD ripping.

The Ripstation 7601XD model includes the following features: self-enclosed small footprint unit; Plug-and-play PC-connectivity; Ripfactory CD Ripping Software; an 80-disc capacity; and the ability to rip up to 15 CDs per hour.

"With this new model in our Ripstation lineup, we offer total flexibility for our customers when it comes to disc ripping," says John McGrath, MF Digital’s U.S. Eastern Sales Manager. "With this new model, our customers now have a choice between small to mid-volume disc ripping, or using our multi-drive higher-disc capacity Ripstation systems."

Some advanced Ripstation features include full Codec support on CD ripping to MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA, AAC and WMA lossless audio file formats. To insure music information content is consistent and accurate, metadata tag information is pulled from a verity of database resources, such as: GD3, FreeDB, and Amazon. Loading your iPod or MP3 player has never been easier with the MF Digital Ripstation. Using advanced features like direct-to-device support you can upload automatically to MP3 manufacturers such as the Apple iPod, Creative, SanDisk, Nokia and others.

Mark Hulswit, U.S. Western Sales Manager for MF Digital, explains, "We have always been on the forefront of Disc Ripping Technology. With the introduction of the 7601XD, we now provide the end-user a pc-connected self-enclosed unit that is easy-to-use and has everything needed for fast and accurate automated disc ripping."

MF Digital will be demonstrating the 7601XD at the CEDIA Denver Expo, September 4th through September 7th, 2008. Sponsored by the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, CEDIA Expo will be the venue for our latest Automated Disc Ripping Technology Solutions.
